Lasell works
This is a unique career preparation program that launches students into their professional futures. For four years, students who take part in the Lasell Works program receive tuition reduction and instruction from expert faculty, which helps them grow into marketable and successful employees in their fields.
Honors program
The Honors Program offers an intensive setting for intellectual and social development. It promotes independent thinking, social responsibility, enthusiasm for intellectual inquiry, and appreciation for the power of ideas. The Honors Program strives to produce interdisciplinary thinkers and problem-solvers with a critical moral sensibility. This program helps students gain skills to research problems from several angles and develop leadership strategies to organize action and implement solutions.
Writing program
This program allows students to engage in writing throughout their entire educational career at Lasell University. First-year students take two writing courses, Writing I and Writing II, and upper-class students take two Writing Intensive courses in their major. Additionally, students have access to other courses that will help them develop their writing skills. To help perfect the skill, this program grant students access to several university publications where they get to submit essays and articles for publication. Fresh Thoughts is a yearly publication of top student essays from Writing I, as well as artwork from our Graphic Design students.
Fifth year option
The Fifth Year Option at Lasell University allows undergraduate students with high academic standing to earn both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in as little as five years and save a good amount of money in the process. Qualified students can earn up to 12 graduate credits prior to starting their master’s degree at a bachelor degree price. Please note, earned credit will depend upon the student’s undergraduate coursework, blended semesters and program of choice. The Fifth Year Option does not apply to all graduate-level programs.
